REPORT ON GUIDANCE AND COUNCELLING 2011-12

Prof. Vivek Gadkari, “Managing Director Mind , Power and Skill Development” was welcomed by our honourable and esteemed I/C Principal Shri R.  N. Mohker to our Vidyalaya on 13/12/2011 for counseling the students regarding “PERSONALITY DEVELOPMENT”. He explained the students about Personality development of three parameters i.e. skill, attitude and knowledge. He demonstrated a few activities ti show how to get relaxed from stress and increase the concentration level in an individual and also explained that, through this method the children can enjoy the learning process and studies will be no more a burden for them. In such an atmosphere, automatically the result will be excellent and outstanding. He also explained the students that, for achievement of a goal and fulfillment of ambition, positive attitude and discipline play a vital role and at the same time he stressed on the points like time management and optimistic thinking. Thus, showed us the path to success with the motivational speech.

This intellectual lecture came to an end with the vote of thanks by our PGT PHYSICS Shri Abdul Hafiz.

ANNUAL SPORTS DAY AND MINISPORTS MEET 2011-12

It is truly said “A sound mind in a sound body” and to make sound body sports play a vital role in our life. For this we have conducted Annual Sports meet on 2^nd December 2011 for class VI to XII and mini sports for class I to V in our Vidyalaya. Children participated enthusiastically in various sports events. Final event took place on sports day which was enjoyed by the children. The whole atmosphere of the school was joyful and cheerful. Winners were thrilled by receiving the medals and certificates from Honourable Principal and respected H.M. Mrs. Ingole. Chief Guest VMC member Mrs. Neelima Mondhe appreciated all the events which was well organized by Sports teacher Mr. Ganagale co-operated by all teachers.

Master Satyam, Class XII got selected for SGFI 2011-12 in Handball event.

CELEBRATION OF AIDS AWARENESS DAY on 1/12/2011

Kendriya Vidyalaya  Bhandara celebrated World AIDS Awareness Day on 1/12/2011. A well planned and well coordinated programme was organized by the AEP Nodal teachers (Mr Nagrale, PGT BIO and Mrs Swati Vishwakarma, PGT COMP) under the kind guidance of Mr R N Mohker, I/C Principal, KV Bhandara.

Program started with the speech of Master Mayank, X B. Through his speech he enlightened everyone’s knowledge on HIV/AIDS, reasons for HIV/AIDS and what measures one should take to ensure its prevention.

Class IX B students presented a well prepared and synchronized skit on “how a person can become a HIV/AIDS victim unknowingly and reactions of society towards such person”. They are abandoned from the community. As a responsible citizen what should be our duty towards such victims. Ms Ankita, narrator of the skit presented various diagnostic and treatment options available for HIV/AIDS.

Mr Nagrale gave a very informative speech explaining the origin of HIV/AIDS, how it has spreaded to rest of the world and that it is no less than a nuclear attack. In his speech he told that this disease has originated from the monkeys. He also discussed shocking statistics on HIV/AIDS victims throughout the world. He mentioned how India is becoming a capital of HIV/AIDS victim and that there is a dire need for  HIV/AIDS awareness among people.

Followed by Mr Nagrales speech, Mr Bagade, TGT SST shared his knowledge on HIV/AIDS and tried to persuade each child for regular blood tests.

Mr R N Mohker, Honourable Principal briefed the students about the necessity of conducting such programs at Vidyalaya level and role of teachers in it. He told that life is precious and we must protect it.

Program concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Ms Shreejita Kundu of XII.

After the program a poster making competition was organized for the students of class VIII to X. Response was overwhelming. 3 best posters were selected among all and winning students will be getting prize under CCA.

Over all program was a grand success.

CELBRATION OF GRANDPARENTS DAY ON 17.11.2011

The grand parent’s day was celebrated on 17^th November 2011 in our Vidyalaya to honour the senior citizens. Many grandparents came to participate and showered their blessings by their inspiring speech. They shared their most memorable moments of their life.

The head of the Institution, Honourable Principal Mr. Mohker and H.M. Mrs. Nanda Ingole gave a hearty welcome to all the grandparents. Sir Dr. D. D. Gajbhiye was invited as the chief guest who addressed all the grandparents and also thanked them for inculcating good culture to the younger generation.

Mrs. Muttulaxmi, a retired teacher also expressed her view on this occasion.

Cultural programme was organised for their entertainment and was followed by delicious refreshments.

The programme was well organised with the co-operation and co-ordination of the entire primary staff under the able guidance of Principal and H.M. Mrs. Nanda Ingole.

The programme came to an end with vote of thanks.

CHILDREN’S DAY CELEBRATION on 14/11/11

14^th November 2011 is celebrated as a Chacha Nehru’s birthday which was also celebrated with a great zeal in our Vidyalaya.

The children from various classes recalled Chacha Nehru through their speech. Mr. Ganer and Miss. Rubina also spoke a few lines about the legend which was followed by a poem.

Soon after the cultural programmes a community lunch was organised for the primary children in which, our Honourable Principal Mr. Mohker and respected H.M. Mrs. Nanda Ingole also accompanied inside the school premises in a beautiful garden. The teachers enjoyed and relished their lunch with their respective classes in the garden.

CELEBRATION OF BIRTHDAY OF Dr. MAULANA ABDUL KALAMon 14/11/11

Children’s day was celebrated with the birthday of our Educationist Maulana Abdul Kalam on 11.11.2011 various competitions were organised for the occasion such as Action songs by tiny tots,group dance, Skit etc. were performed by the children of different houses. The theme of English Skit conveyed a very good message to the audience ie “Girl Child is a blessing”, “Work is Worship”, “Corruption Awareness” etc. To gain more Knowledge, quiz was also conducted.

These cultural programmes were very well organized by the CCA Incharge and all the house masters have taken active part to traine their children and last but not the least, the hardwork of all the teachers’ flashed through the Success of this programme.

Our H.M. Mrs Nanda Ingole and Our Principal Mr .Mohker appreciated and encouraged the children. The programme end with a vote of  Thanks .
